Andy Rush, a long-time Rancho Linda Vista artist, founded The Drawing Studio in 1992 to have a way to share with people from all walks of life how the practice of art can enrich one’s personal visual world. The art programs of TDS are now offered by over 30 teaching artists in the TDS downtown center and at six outlying sites. “Since all the teaching artists live in Oracle, we look forward to sharing our love of drawing with our neighbors and friends.”

Please call (520) 620-0947 to register or for more information.

One of the cornerstones of the work at RLV OracleArt will be its Artist Fellowships and Residencies, designed to foster the creation and exhibition of artistic works in a rural setting. In its first year, RLV OracleArt will offer an Argentinian Photographry Fellowship, which will bring a promising young photographer from Argentina to Oracle in order to further develop his/her work in a truly unique environment while allowing our rural corner of Arizona the chance to experience the diverse visions of a creative professional we would otherwise never know.

This fellowship has been made possible through a generous private donation. It is our hope in future years to offer more such opportunities to talented artists from diffferent backgrounds working in a range of different media.
